Before founding Arissian in early 2014, Philip was a co-founder of PCTI Solutions Ltd (Docman) and remained as a senior board member following a private equity sale to investors in 2007. He had overall responsibility for software development / quality assurance and aligning user requirements with strategic business objectives in both primary and secondary care.
He helped grow the business from 5 staff and 1 Docman customer to 100+ staff and 6000+ Docman customers in primary care with revenues to match. He co-designed one of the first commercial clinical document messaging systems for primary and secondary care and was involved in the initial NHS ITK Discharge pilots. He subsequently oversaw finalised ITK integration into the EDT Hub platform for Clinical Documents and 111 GP Notifications.
